The Award-winning, 3rd Annual Stuff the Bus Food and Toy Drive kicked-off on “Black Friday,” November 23, 2018 benefitting Alabama Childhood Food Solutions (ACFS) and the Sylacauga Alliance for
Family Enhancement (SAFE)!
Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items benefitting ACFS and toys, benefitting SAFE to Tony Serra Ford on Hwy. 280 in Sylacauga during regular business hours. Donations will be accepted through Thursday, December 22, 2018.
Over the last two years, Stuff the Bus has helped feed thousands in the immediate five-county area through ACFS and hundreds of families have been given toys through SAFE.
The charity event was recognized for its community service and was recognized with a state award from the Alabama Broadcasters Association.
“Hunger never takes a day off,” said Jim Jones, Executive Director of Alabama Childhood Food Solutions. “We need your help to consistently feed the hungry in our area.”
“This event has been a huge success in years past and we are looking forward to it once again this year,” said Executive Vice President of RadioAlabama Michael Brannon. “It’s a big deal! People notice the bus and immediately take action. It’s encouraging to see so many people pour out love during the holiday season for those less fortunate.”
Each Saturday throughout the event, a RadioAlabama station will be live from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Tony Serra Ford with an opportunity to win Chick-fil-A for a year – an approximate $315 value. Participants can register at the remote. The winner will be announced on Thursday, December 22, 2018.
The event is sponsored by Serra Sylacauga Autoplex, Huddle House, MainStreet Family Urgent Care, Chick-fil-A, and RadioAlabama. It is presented by 98.3 Fox FM, KiX 100.3, Yea!106.5, and RadioAlabama. The project is a product of RadioAlabama.
