As summer turns to fall, and the days seem to rush right on by, we urge you to go ahead and mark Saturday, October 14th on your calendar & set reminders on all your devices, because you don’t want to miss the 2017 Fall Family Festival in the park, next to Town Hall in Oak Grove. You know the place – home of the area’s best walking track. And come festival day, it’s going to be full of all sorts of fall family fun!
There’s a great line-up of live musicians, playing everything from Bluegrass to Classic Pop & Rock on the First Bank of Alabama Stage. Delicious food will be in abundance in the food court, along with a the largest line-up ever of vendors – arts, crafts, and so much more. And, yes, the famed Hodges Meteorite will be making its annual homecoming journey to the festival!
But, what truly stands out for this festival will be all of the absolutely FREE activities for the children! The park will be loaded with the most popular inflatable bouncies, sponsored by Allen Oil. There will be a host of the kids’ favorite characters in costume, plus the Home Depot Kids Workshop, a train, and so much more – And, best of all, all the Kids’ stuff is FREE!
